Our Loan Process

Remington Financial Group brings unique insight, strategy, and experience to the dynamic process of arranging for financing commercial real estate and other business transactions. With expertise across the funding stack from debt to sponsor equity, Remington develops and executes often-complex financial structures that enhance value.

Our process enhances client success. Here’s how:

  1. The Applicant provides a Business Plan / Executive Summary describing the project and the financing request.
  2. During the pre-qualification determination process, the project is reviewed and Lender/Investor conceptual interest is evaluated. This results in:
    The project being accepted,
Proposed revisions being issued for the project, or
    The project being declined.
  3. If the project is deemed viable, a Letter of Interest is issued to the applicant.
  4. If the Letter of Interest is accepted, a Remington analyst prepares a due diligence checklist and works with the applicant to assemble the required documents.
  5. Upon receipt of the due diligence documents, formal due diligence commences. This includes analysis of all documents, preparation and packaging of the data for submission to the designated lender/investor, and a formal site visit is normally conducted.
  6. Upon completion of due diligence, a final package, including all relevant due diligence materials and a Funding Request, is completed and presented to the funding source.
  7. Final terms and conditions from the funding source is presented for the applicant’s review.
  8. Closing | Fundingization | Funding
